Swaziland
Swaziland is a monarchy, almost completely surrounded but independent of South Africa.
People are very friendly. Children would wave when we drove down the road.
Time runs a little bit more slowly in Swaziland. People take their time,
even when they talk. It is nice to be in a country where people are not
in such a rush.
The Swazi cultural village is built the way Swazi people used to live
in the olden days. We learned: how long and how many men it takes to
build a hut, how many wives a man can have, and what a real Swazi hotel
looks like.
